Creating A Vibrant Community-Live at the Hope VI Art & Culture Partnership
Artists enhance the quality of community life. The City of Tucson and the South Park Neighborhood have developed an opportunity for artists to live, work and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the south Park area. An art and cultural facility has been developed from a pre-existing five-plex housing unit and is devoted to fostering and promoting arts and culture in the South Park neighborhood and surrounding areas. The center includes two buildings and an outdoor courtyard for classes, workshops, lectures and exhibits. In addition the facility includes two renovated apartment units. We are currently accepting apartment rental applications from working artists. Metropolitan Housing Corporation (MHC) is the facility manager of the complex and occupies an office at the facility.

Tucson resident and business woman, Diana Limjoco, CFO of a Tucson, AZ corporation, Digital Web Group, Inc., was on the air, interviewed by Che Che Lazaro, on the Probe Team show for National Philippine TV- recently on ABS-CNB/ANC channels to tell of the recovery and survival of her tragic childhood kidnapping and torture. Diana has been a pillar of her former community in Mt. Shasta, California, where she founded the Public Access Television station, MCTV-Channel 15, which now runs the northern most towns and cities in Northern California and operates out of College of The Siskiyous, in line with her vision for it’s future.
